Certificate Authority Change for APIs

On 27 August 2026 at 10:00 UTC, we will update the TLS certificate for api.high-mobility.com, changing the certificate authority from GlobalSign to Let’s Encrypt.
Action required: Please ensure that your client systems trust and support certificates issued by Let’s Encrypt before the scheduled change.
We do not expect any service interruption as part of this change.

BMW has scheduled maintenance for August 19, 07:00 – 12:00 (CEST).
During the maintenance period, the affected service will be temporarily unavailable.
No data loss is expected for Push API transactions.
Vehicle activation/deactivation are queued by High Mobility and no data loss is expected data delivery. Delayed data will be processed automatically after the maintenance, which may temporarily increase data traffic.
